Have you gained valuable professional experience? Have you completed specialist courses or training, or studied independently? The University of Silesia offers you the opportunity to officially recognise the knowledge, skills and social competencies you have acquired outside the traditional education system (through non-formal and informal learning).
How does it work?
The process of confirming learning outcomes allows you to be credited with specific courses (learning modules) from the degree programme without having to attend classes. If you pass the verification process and demonstrate that you already possess the required knowledge, the university will credit you with the course, awarding the corresponding number of ECTS credits.
This allows you to shorten the duration of your studies or reduce the number of obligatory classes, focusing instead on acquiring entirely new skills.
