People with special educational needs

We believe that disability or special needs should not be a barrier in the process of education. We are here to support you on its every stage – from choosing your degree programme and the admissions process to the everyday nature of student life.

You can count on our help you during your studies in terms of:

  • Assistant’s Support
    Personal assistant support during classes and other important academic community events. 
  • Polish Sign Language Interpreter 
    Sign language interpretation during classes and university events. 
  • Accessible Educational Materials 
    Assistance in preparing educational materials in accessible formats.
  • Adapted PE Classes
    Access to adapted physical education classes provided by the Centre for Physical Education and Sport
  • Free Specialist Assistance 
    We provide psychological and psychiatric assistance. 
  • Neurodiversity Support Group 
    A safe space for students to share their experiences and insights. 
  • Adaptation Days 
    Special orientation events for students with disabilities who are beginning their studies
  • Accessible Infrastructure 
    Our buildings have elevators and accessible restrooms. Our faculties also feature dedicated quiet rooms
  • Accessible Transport 
    We offer access to free transport to and from the university buildings. 
  • Equipment Rental 
    You can free-of-charge rent a specialist equipment facilitating learning (e.g. notebooks, voice recorders). 
  • Digital Resources 
    We provide access to the Digital Academic Library.

  • Allowance 
    An opportunity to apply for a scholarship for people with disabilities.
