Find out
What do the statuses in the IRK system mean?
Once online registration has closed, the faculty admission committees begin reviewing the results and then publish the lists of successful applicants. You can find the exact dates and times when the results for your course will be announced in your Online Application System (IRK) account.
Important
Being accepted is not the same as being admitted to studies. To officially join the student body, you must submit a complete set of required documents by the specified deadline.

Admission glossary
When you log in to your account after the results are announced, you will see one of the following messages. Find out what they mean and what action is required of you:
Accepted
Congratulations! You have scored enough points (or meet the other required criteria) to secure a place on the list. Now you just need to submit the required documents at the specified location and time.
Accepted/conditionally accepted
You have been granted the additional status of ‘conditionally accepted’. This means that the number of applicants accepted for the above-mentioned course is currently insufficient to form a single class. The Faculty Admission Committee (WKR) will announce a further, additional recruitment. If, following the additional recruitments, it is not possible to fill the required number of places to form a single class, the aforementioned programme will not be launched. The Faculty Admission Committee may also suggest that you enrol in another programme. Applicants who, having paid the fee, do not wish to study a different programme may apply for a refund of the admission fee.
Olympiad/competition winner
You have been awarded a place on the course without going through the standard selection process, based on a certificate from a national-level Olympiad or competition.
Waiting list
You did not have enough points to be accepted in the first round, but you still have a chance! You will remain on the list of people who may be admitted if places become available (e.g. if someone withdraws or fails to submit their documents).
Non-accepted
Unfortunately, you do not meet the formal requirements to study the chosen degree programme.
Admitted
The formalities have been successfully completed! Your documents have been verified and you are officially joining the student body. Your status changes to ‘Admitted’ in the IRK system once your documents have been submitted and your details entered into the USOS system. You obtain student status upon taking the student oath.
Non-admitted
This status appears if there were no places left for you within the quota, you failed the entrance exam, or if you were accepted but forgot to submit your documents on time.
GOOD TO KNOW
How does the waiting list work in practice?
Imagine that the admission quota for your dream degree programme is 250 places. On the day the results are announced, you are ranked 300th on the list. You are given the status ‘Waiting list’. After a few days, it turns out that some of the 250 accepted students have not submitted their documents, leaving 60 places available. At this point, the system automatically moves you up the list – you gain the status ‘Accepted’ and can go to the faculty with your documents.
Additional recruitments
If, after the entire process has been completed, there are still places available on a particular course, the admission committee may announce an additional recruitment round. In this situation, registration will reopen in the IRK system.
Has your secondary school leaving exam result changed following an appeal?
If you appealed to the Examination Arbitration Committee and, as a result, your score for the written part of the school-leaving exam was increased, you are entitled to have your admission points updated. In this case, you may submit a request for correction of the admission procedure result to the faculty admission committee by 30 September 2026.
